Thanks to everyone for your support.

26th December 2014 – Santa Delivers A Late Present At Fontwell As Miss Sophierose Wins On Hurdling Debut.

After Miss Sophierose’s impressive bumper win at Worcester back in October, connections sat back watching her form be franked with 7 winners coming out of the race before today. Warren was confident that Miss Sophierose would run a big race on hurdling debut, after she had been schooling so well at home.

In front of a packed Boxing Day crowd Miss Sophierose led from the start and showed what a tough mare she really is! In the closing stages of the race Miss Sophierose and short priced favourite Meetmeatthemoon drew 10 lengths clear of their rivals and went head to head. After hitting the second hurdle from home Miss Sophierose was headed only to battle back and beat the Phillip Hobbs trained Meetmeatthemoon on the line.

In what was a gutsy performance credit has to be given to 2014 Champion Conditional jockey Gavin Sheehan who gave Miss Sophierose a fantastic ride.

Congratulations to all involved.
